Tubular 0.9.8 has been released, and is available for download through the usual means (launch Tubular, and select “Check for Updates” from the Tubular menu). This release is critical if you’re using the Safari 3 beta, as that update caused Tubular to crash whenever you started downloading a video (whether to play it or to convert it to the iPod). If you’re running Safari 3, this version should alleviate these problems.
We’re also very close to our first public beta. We’ll be rolling it over to 1.0 public beta 1 in the next release (unless there are any major crashing bugs to be found, in which case there will be another minor release). We will also have a system in place for registration, so there will be some limitations for unregistered users. Stay tuned.

at 10:33 pm on July 12, 2007,You know it’s pretty sad that I wasted my money on this application. I am able to view YouTube on my TV by using the Apple TV before you can get this app to work properly.
It’s gay that you have to wait upwards of 20 seconds before watching a video through Tubular. I know I know it has to do with the video method you choose, however maybe you should have chosen another method where users would not have to wait.
A very disapointed user.

The app has gone much more stable than 2-3 months ago, which is gaining some positive progress, but Steve, you need to fix them much faster than the current rate. Thanks
