Welcome to all of you who are coming from TWiT.tv’s podcast MacBreak Weekly. We appreciate your stopping by and checking out what we’re about. However, contrary to what Alex Lindsay said, we are unfortunately currently only accepting preorderers into the private beta. In the mean time, we’ve got a special coupon for you guys. Type in MACBREAK or click here, and you can preorder Tubular and be given access to the private beta for $9.99 (remember that it is in beta, and there are stll bugs).
In the meantime, you can check out our screencast, where we show off some of the features in Tubular, including browsing, searching, and converting video to your iPod. Thanks again for stopping by!
A bit of news - I’m currently working my way through all of your support emails, and hunting down some more bugs. I will be moving to a new house over the weekend, so I will most likely not be available, but please still send along bug reports and any crashers.

at 4:26 pm on January 4, 2007,Hmm, that’s a bit worrying. I’m happy using beta software but it’s not unreasonable to expect it to be in a useable state by now and I don’t believe it is. I’m not using Tubular for browsing YouTube yet because it just doesn’t work. When you say you’re about to move house, it seems less likely than ever to get fixed anytime soon.

at 12:28 pm on January 6, 2007,Democracy Player is a gerat tool, but Tubular lets you convert videos and directly adds them to iTunes, which is a pretty nice feature.
Hope Tubular will advance to a level at which it’s really usable soon.
