Watching videos when you’re at your computer is fun, but watching videos wherever you are is even better. So now, you can take your favorite videos and put them right on your favorite media player.
To convert videos to your iPod, simply choose the video you want to convert in the Tubular window, and click Convert to iPod. That’s it. Tubular will then download the video, convert it to a QuickTime file, add it to iTunes, and tag it, all automatically. It handles multiple videos at the same time, as well.
The videos usually range between 400-800 kbps, which means that for most videos on YouTube, your iPod video file will come out to a few megabytes. You could stick dozens of these on your iPod without breaking a sweat.
Note: The graphics and positioning of all the widgets seen in the image above are subject to change, although the overall idea (a table with all of the conversions in it) will be staying.

at 2:41 am on December 8, 2006,Looks nice, but an actual product to us who pre-paid would be nicer
I really hope we’ll get a private beta version soon, so we can actually start using the software and not just look at nice screenshots.

at 6:45 am on December 8, 2006,I bought this software 2 times already! Once in the pre-order and once in the maczot..so now I have paid for it twice with nothing to show! Come on…lets get the product out there before gootube changes something and breaks it….

at 11:09 am on December 12, 2006,I also paid for this app through maczot with nothing to show. As a fellow developer, I understand that delays are inevitable, but it would be nice if we could get a general timeframe for when the program will be released. I believe the previous release date was supposed to be by the end of November, and it’s been almost half a month longer than that. It’s ok to release v1.0 without all the features you want to include, and yes, it will have bugs. That’s what we (as the early adopters) are here for! We provide feedback and let you know what features we want to see, and also let you know when you run into bugs. So, can we get a general idea of when we’ll see Tubular? Hopefully before 2007!

at 1:19 am on December 14, 2006,I agree with the last comment. I paid on the promise of getting a pre-release before the end of november. If you run into delay, that’s a pity, but if you don’t keep us informed about any delay, we get very dissapointed and that is simply not very professional…
